Job Description*


To design and operate system of collecting reliable and relevant information from field surveys and to process the same for producing reports. The job also involves preparing draft reports, interactions with client organizations and qualitative research in the field. R.O. controls the overall costs to make the project viable. He synchronizes all the activities within Metric and the client's organisation to meet stringent deadlines. Sr. Research officer is expected to substantially contribute in development of new research models. Generally Sr. Research officer handles all the tasks mentioned earlier and also acts as project in-charge.Jr. Research officer assists Sr. R.O. as a team member and is expected to resume independent responsibility. This is a permanent job with excellent career opportunities.

Candidate Profile*


R.O. must have good analytical ability, presentation & inter-personal skills and commercial sense. He must be willing to work out of the office and undertake traveling anywhere in the country.· A university recognised Post-Graduate degree [additional M. Phil. / Doctorate degree will be given more weightage] in English Language / Statistics / Political Science / Economics / Sociology / any branch of Social Sciences / Journalism; or · A university recognised Post-Graduate degree in Management with graduate degree in English Language / Statistics / Political Science / Economics / Sociology / any branch of Social Sciences / Journalism, Engineering, Technology; · A consistent brilliant academic record and in-depth understanding of the subject of Marketing & Market Research.The candidates, who have scored lesser than 70% in S.S.C. & H.S.C. exams and 60% or equivalent grades thereafter, need not apply.
